The first is how to use print preview for making a print job fit and secondly is how to check the validity of an email. Have a great Thursday! *Making Every Print Job Fit http://www.180techtips.com/135.htm Carpenters say that you should measure twice and cut once to avoid mistakes. We who use computers to create documents could use this idea to save some paper by always doing a print preview before we print anything. Here's how to do it: After you are done creating your masterpiece in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, or most other programs you can go to the file menu and look for "Print Preview" In the print preview mode you can see how your product will look when printed. You can also view multiple pages, zoom in and out and in some programs (such as MS Publisher) you can adjust the margins manually. When you are done with the Print Preview mode you can exit it by clicking on "Close" on the toolbar. *Checking The Validity Of An Email Zapping Email Legends Have you ever received a chain email like this one: Please pass this to everyone in your address book. We have a Deli manager (Acme Markets) from Philadelphia, Pa who has a 13 year old daughter who has been missing for 2 weeks. Keep the picture moving on. With luck on her side she will be found. "I am asking you all, begging you to please forward this email . . . . " It might look pretty convincing. You might even feel compelled to send it off to everyone you know immediately. But before you do here's how you can check the validity an email message like this one: 1) Highlight and copy a sentence from the email: 2) Then paste that sentence into Google www.google.com or any other search engine: 3) In the resulting search you might find lots of websites that can help you determine the validity of the email like this one: Snopes.com http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/missing/ashleyflores.asp Hoax-Slayer.com http://www.hoax-slayer.com/ashley-flores.html ChildAlert.org http://www.childalert.org/hoaxes.htm EddieOnEverything.com http://www.eddieoneverything.com/psa/ashley-flores-isnt-missing-helpfindashleyfloresyahoocom-isnt-a-real-address.php Send messages to dthompson5@xxxxxxxxx Morning Prayer God, let my thoughts be yours, my words be yours, and may I be a blessing to someone today.
