Computer locks up in Windows Seven when accessing Microsoft 2007, 10or
2013 when using Jaws

Recently a friend was experienceing problems with his computer locking up
in Windows Seven when accessing Office 2007 Programs via the JAWS 14
Screenreading Software at his work site.
Problems encountered were:
1. When opening Microsoft Word 2007 and attempting to access files in a
directory, JAWS would quit responding.
It was possible to press alt-tab and move away from Word. However, when
attempting to open a program from the desktop, an error like "error
contacting remote server" and sometimes a long line of numbers would
appear.
2. Sometimes when in an Office 2007 app and JAWS would lock up, it was
impossible to close out of the Office Program.
3. When either of the above two situations would happen, one could access
"wordpad" from the start menu and then navigate to any file and open it.
However, the locked Microsoft Office program still would not close.
Solution:
Through the great detective work of a local I.T. expert and the vast
resources of Google, he found the following solution.
1. In Windows Seven, press the start button or click into the start menu.
2. Tab once or click on the person's name.
3. Press the letter c until reaching "computer" and press enter or click
on "computer."
4. Arrow to the C drive and press enter or click on the C drive to open
it.
5. Press alt plus t or click on "tools."
6. Press the letter o for "folder options" or click on "folder options."
7, If using a screenreader, Press control plus tab until reaching the
"view" property sheet.
Mouse users, click into the same property sheet.
8. Tab to the "advance settings treeview." This should be two presses
of tab. Mouse users, click into "advanced settings treeview."
9. The very first thing in this tree is "files and folders."
Arrow down to "show preview handlers and preview pain." This option is
quite away down the page. The option will probably be set as "on."
10. Once reaching "show preview handlers and preview pain", press the
spacebar to uncheck the option.
11. Press Shift plus tab and move back to "apply to folders" and press
the spacebar. Mouse users, click on the same button.
12. Press shift plus tab until reaching "apply" again and press the
spacebar.
Mouse users, click on "apply.
13. Shift tab back to "okay" and press the spacebar.
Mouse users click on "okay." The problem will then be solved.

will keep our inner being wrapped in complete peace. Trusting in the Lord
is a forever, lifelong, yet moment-to-moment state of mind that brings a
sense of security, stability, wholeness, well-being, and a rock-like faith
in God's faithfulness.
