Windows Media Player cannot be used to make a copy of one cd directly from
another cd. You would have to first rip the original cd to your hard drive, then burn a cd with the ripped files. Why did you upgrade Nero. Maybe the easiest solution would be to go back to the older version. If that isn't a
good idea for some reason, then someone on the list will probably have a
good one.

Hi all. I hope this isn't a really stupid question. When using Windows
Media Player with Jaws 10, how do you burn a CD?

Here's my story. I thought I did everything I was supposed to do such as
making sure the "burn" button was pressed and also that I checked "make
audio CD" in the special menu. In this case, I only wanted to copy a CD so
I wanted to burn the entire CD to another blank one. I put both disks in
the respective drives but after that, I couldn't figure out what else to
do or what was happening, if anything. I looked for the burn list pane I
think they mention in the help topics and found that with a menu but most
of the options in the menu were not available and other than that, I
couldn't figure out what to do to start or continue the burn process. I
haven't used Windows Media Player much because I used to use a different
program called Nero. Recently, I upgraded my Nero but now, can't figure
out how to use that with Jaws very well. I thought maybe Windows Media
Player would be more accessible with Jaws. Can someone help me? Also, do
any of you have advice on a fairly easy and Jaws friendly program to use
for burning and ripping?

Sorry for my ignorance everyone. I'm so glad this list is here when I get
into trouble and you're all very helpful. Thank you so much. Hope everyone
is doing well. I appreciate any help you can offer. Take care.

Nicole
