I have AVG Pro Internet Security on my laptop; it gives me a
firewall, spam, virus and spyware/malware scanning and removal.
It is a paid program and I have a two-year license for up to
three computers for just US $89.
Unlike Free AVG which is a virus-only program, it permits you to
schedule how often you want to check for updates and what time of
day it scans your PC.
The free version of AVG always scans your PC at 8 AM like it or
lump it!
