I hope it's okay if I jump in with another question about the.

Does anyone have any personal experience using one with a bar code scanning
software apt and a GPS navigation apt? If so, are they user friendly with the
iPhone? Personal experience would be much appreciated.

when you first run it it will either ask you to sign in or create a new
account, right from the program. no need to visit a website.

Thank you David.. this is good info.. As far as the user name and password
I have to create, does it give me a prompt after I download the Skype program
or do I have to go to a website for Sikype to get that set up? Thanks..

      hello there;

skype is a program which you download to your computer and then install.

the next step is to create a skype account, you will need to create a
username, and password.

along with skype, you can download and install scripts, also, the
skypetalking program, once installed, and configured, will announce whose
calling, whose going off and online, etc.

if you need help, let me no.

Oh thank you, I see, it works like Windows messenger but it has it's own
messenger set up and it's own contacts like Yahoo messenger or Windows
messenger does, you don't actually have to have Windows messenger or Yahoo
messenger to use Skype.. I hope that is the case because I don't use Windows
messenger anymore or Yahoo either.. Thanks, Pat

Jaws will call out some stuff on skype as per default. to get full
accesibility I do recommend to install the scripts for it, that someone gave
you the links to here, earlier.

Then you will get audio feedback if someone signs on, writes a message
and the message will be read to you, as soon as it appears on your messenger.

To start using skype or any other messenger for that matter, you just
register an ID for yourself with the messenger application.

the other person needs to have an ID there too and you can start using
contacts into your messenger by adding their ID's to your list.

As soon as they accept your request to add them to your list, you will
be able to 'see' when they come online or try and contact you.

you only do this process once for every new contact though. only takes
a minute to do so.

then whenever you want to talk or write to a person, you just go down
your contact list to find the person and then hit enter on their names and
start your message to them. if they are online, they can answer you right away
and you can either write or set up a telephone conversation, if both of you
have headsets.

        regards

        chris

Thank you so much Chris..Does the person whose calling you show up on
the moniter as like so and so has signed in or the screenreader will talk and
tell you who is on line? So, when you install the Skype program and assign
yourself and ID, do you have to type in the skype website and log into it with
your skype ID to talk on it or just jump in and talk when someone is trying to
contact you or you want to contact someone, I don't know how it works to
contact someone once I get the program installed, I am just curious, maybe you
can sort of tell me in an e-mail how you goabout calling someone on Skype or
answering when someone calls after it is installed and you have your headphones
with a mike in the headphone.. Sorry to be so dumb about this but have nevr
tried to use it or have never had it and don't know anyone who has, , well I
do, but they live too far off to show me how it works.. Thanks again, Pat
