Unfortunately unless something has changed you need to be running jaws
9.2169 for AVG8 to work properly. AVG8 was crashing with earlier versions
of JAWS loaded. The scheduled scan is turned on by default and set to daily
but, you can change this to weekly by going to tools with alt T from the
user interface, then pressing a for advanced, then down arrowing in the tree
view that appears to schedule, then right arrow once to open the branch and
down arrow to scheduled scans, and tabbing through the options.

Wondering if anyone out there has a direct download URL for the free
version of AVG 8.0.
If at all possible that someone can also provide the steps for setting up
a scheduled scan once the software has been installed. The OS is
Windows XP and the screen reader is JAWS 8.0. Thank you in advance for
