AFB AccessNote and Accessible iOS App Design 
AFB, along with Floco Apps LLC, will use their AccessNote notetaking app to 
demonstrate techniques for designing iOS apps to be compatible with VoiceOver.

Latest Trends in IP Law & Information Access 
This session surveys the latest developments in US and international copyright 
and related intellectual property law having both positive and negative effects 
on information accessibility.

Rating Scale for Blood Glucose Meter Displays 
A rating scale for the low vision accessibility of blood glucose meters based 
on contrast, reflection properties, and font size will be presented.

Multifunction Document Center Accessibility 
The American Foundation for the Blind will present results of research 
evaluating the accessibility options for using multifunction document centers 
for people with vision loss.

Accessibility of Health-related Technologies 
Consumers are asserting responsibility for decisions about their healthcare. 
This session examines the accessibility of health-related websites and the 
development of accessible electronic health records.

AFB also wants to make CSUN attendees with vision loss aware of user tests 
being conducted by Comcast. Please read the news release below.

Individuals who are selected and participate will receive a $100 gift card! 

To Comcast, it is extremely important that we develop and sustain a diverse 
suite of technologies that allows everyone to have access to communication, 
education, and entertainment. Your feedback informs our development process and 
is vital to the success of our products. At CSUN this year, Comcast will give 
blind and low vision users a chance to participate in user testing. In other 
sessions, users who benefit from hearing and/or vision accommodations will also 
have an opportunity to participate in a dialogue about customer service 
surrounding accessibility features. Comcast's user testing and feedback 
sessions will occur during several timeslots on Wednesday, February 27, 
Thursday, February 28, and Friday, March 1, at CSUN 2013. To request
