Microsoft Office 2013 appeared with great fanfare last week, at the end of 
January, 2013. Tune into Tek Talk on Monday evening, February 4 for a look at 
Microsofft Word 2013, the Office suite's popular word processing program. Dean 
will offer demonstrations of effective use of Word highlighted in his upcoming 
National Braille Press book, How to Do 53 Useful Things in Microsoft Word 2013. 
He contends that blind people have nothing to fear and a lot to gain from 
embracing this latest version of the venerable program. He will show some 
techniques that he feels have not been emphasized enough in teaching recent 
versions of Word, and will also help users find some features they may believe 
are no longer part of the program, but are in truth alive and well.
