Kevin, Just to add to what other people have said. I found that when
attempting to network a desktop and a laptop using Norton Internet Security
I was completely unable to access files and folders with NIS running. If you
run through the network wizard and find you are unable to access the folders
you have selected to share try turning off the firewalls just to make sure
everything is sharing correctly.

Also you didn't mention if you had any other security settings than the key.
If you have your SSID hidden you will either need to type it in to the
laptop when trying to connect to the wireless access point or disable that
feature in the settings of the access point.
Good lukc
Yusuf
