Jeff,
I am using a Netgear router with an aerial on it. As the aerial comes off, I
bought a high gain aerial off Ebay, which improved the reception around the
house.
Not all routers have removable aerials, but worth checking out.

I have sky wireless and even with their new up-to-date modem I am finding
it hard to transmit wirelessly around my flat, which isn't that big.
My partner has apple products I am on PC predominately.
Any tips for a good wireless booster?
