There used to be a free programme that enabled VI people to do a fresh
install, although I don't know whether it would work on Windows 7... And I
can't remember what it's called. Still, another thing you might try is
using NVDA to set the bios. The latest version of NVDA does work in safe
mode where I think you set the bios.

Hello Barry, Yes I was going to do the Instalation on my own.
The Issue I have with new Instalations of windows is; I always have problems
with finding the correct function keys to work with the bios in order to
change the boot up sequence.
I've never been able to work this out with this laptop.
I'm using the Acer Aspire 5920 notebook.
That is why I asked about getting software that runs from either the desktop
or from CD-Rom,

Hi Billy
You can do it as part of the new Windows installation. When installing it,
you select 'Format hard drive', although I think it might be selected as
default.
Were you thinking of doing the installation yourself without sighted help?
