hi andrew,
select the files you want to be in the archive and then bring up the
context menu.
on this menu should be an item called add to archive.
select this and a configeration screen should come up.
on this screen you can give the archive a name choose the compression ratio
plus several other selections.
the only ones you actually need to be concerned with is to give the archive
the name you want it to be labelled with and the other is to check the box
that says create a sfx file.
this is the selection that will make the archive a self extracting exe
file.
