However, I double checked that I had the latest version of windows media player but I'm puzzled as to why I can't rewind or forward wind within a file. These functions are unavailable on the play menu. Seems a bit strange to me, everybody has to rewind now and then, don't you think? Hi Jim. Yes, I've used Sound Taxi in the past and I cant say it agrees with me. It converts at a ratio of 1-1 with audible books, so it takes however long the audible title lasts to complete the conversion process. The only reason I used to convert books was so that I could get them on my Nokia phone when travelling, but now I use an IPhone and the audible app, I hardly use the software in fact I dont have it even installed. All the best, Ibrahim. On Sat, 19 Mar 2011 22:26 +0000, "jim mcauslan" <jim.mcauslan@xxxxxxx> wrote:Hi Ibrahim, Thanks for that. I'll do that. Have you used file conversion software such as Sound Taxi or similar apps? Cheers.
