No it is not all touch screens Trace and can be navagated using the conventional qwerty or laptop keyboard. Dolphin hope to bring out Supernova 13.5 but they do not appear to be going to do so before Christmas. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Spring Flower" <spring.flower@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Ron,

As well as NVDA which is free, JAWS 14 works with Windows 8. You'll need to
check which version of Windows 8 works with which version of JAWS.
Window-Eyes 8.0, which is currently in Beta, will also work (the beta
version already works).

Supernova didn't support Windows 8 the last time I looked, though apparently
support is on the way.

Someone has just asked me if screenreaders can read the new windows
version? Also does any scdreenreader read the log on screen, the one
which comes on first? There is always text which my wife reads to me
but Jaws is silent.
Hope you can help
Ron
