Hi Peter, Okay, try this, not sure if it will work, but I did it when I had installed some plug ins for winamp in an earlier version. Go into the main winamp window and press alt O, a preferences screen will come up, then press the letter O for output, tab past the close button and you will find a list box, up and down arrow until you hear direct output. Okay this and winamp should behave normally again. Not sure if it is this, but worth a try.
