[access-uk] wierd issues

hi all,
I just had a call off my sister who is running a windows vista hoe premium
laptop. when she types fast and types words, like
you
could
should
any words with the letters O, and U in them, the U character is making any
words afterwards underlined. has she activated anything by mistake?
I have never heard of this error before
