[access-uk] which folders should show when viewing .doc files?

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me why the following may be occurring please.
If on my windows XP home system I open a word document and then from within
it chose open and set the view so that it shows only word documents ,
should folders marked "My Videos" and "My Music be visible? And if they are
what have I done wrong?
