Hi Chris. I am generally a JAWS user but thought I'd give thunder a look. My initial thoughts ar that it seems a little unstable but I am prepared to give it more of a go. As far as Webbie is concerned, it looks functional on a basic level. Overall, I am most impressed by the open source Non Visual Desktop program which, while in early stages of development, seems well featured and easy to use. It works with internet explorer and is also said to wwork particularly well with firefox. regards graham Graham Page Home Phone: 0207 265 9493 Mobile: 07753 607980 Fax: 0870 706 2773 Email: gpage@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: gabriel_mcbird@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: gabriel_mcbird ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher Hallsworth" <chrishallsworth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 25, 2007 12:35 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: webbie functionality Graham, in my view, both Thunder and related programmes are crap (sorry for the language), as you can't do much with either programmes, unlike, say, JAWS and Mozilla Firefox. Just my thoughts, hope you enjoy both Thunder and Webbie.
