Actually it isn't. Sighted people don't call them combo boxes, it is
only
screen readers that call them that, and web standards. Sighted people
call
them drop downs. You can't expect sighted people to always use jargon
that
we understand through screen readers. Ask any sighted person what a
combo
box is and see what you get.
