John,

As you've used both WayFinder and the BrailleNote GPS, could you outline
the differences, advantages and disadvantages, please? We could go
either way at this stage but probably not both.

Hi list I must say for me wayfinder and the braille note gps has made
a real difference in getting about piano tuning and knowing where I am.
many many times on buses as they are one manned it is amazing how
many times the driver forgets to tell you where to get off.
If you are on a regular route you will maybe able to recognize where
you are but when in strange locations the gps is fantastic. There are
many blind people who have enough sight to see out of the
windows but if like me as a total it is a real help to know where you
are. to find about wayfinder go to www.wayfinder.com this program runs
on series 60 mobiles and is the cheapest accessible
gps at this moment in time.
the advantage of braille note pk is the braille output.
I am soon to acquire the dell axim x50v pda with mobile pocket running
on it. it will be interesting to see if gps can be used on the pda's
