The main reason is because the data and maps for route planning are online
and not stored locally off line so WayFinder goes online when you're route
planning. I think syncing favourites between the phone and your
mywayfinder.com account needs an internet connection too.

Hi,
I am interested in getting the above. On their website, they say I need an
internet connection enabled on my mobile, does anyone know why this is?

Thank you.
