Hi  Clive
I feel there should be a choice.

Funny enough, I received  letter from  RNIB  about voting
for an RNIB  trustee.  I had to  ask  someone to read me the  letter
because it was in print!

It's so  frustrating.

Hello Dave,

I agree with you, on the provision that online voting didn't ever
disadvantage those who could not vote on line, because of: their not
being
online; their being in computer not-spots; and of course, the process
would
need to be fully accessible and usable from the outset. For example,
let's
not have current affairs programmes saying: "You will be able to vote
online
at the website which is on your screen now." That did happen on some
TV
programmes warning people that they only had two hours to go online if
they
hadn't registered to vote. Now is certainly the time to start phasing
in
online voting though, in my view.

Best,
Clive

Online voting is the way forward in my opinion and would certainly
result in
a larger percentage of people participating. Certainly unions have
been
pushing for this process to be brought in.

Hi All
My  council has told me:

"The ballot paper is A5 in size and the boxes for each option are in

the bottom right corner. A specially created tactile device will be
available for use (with R for remain and L for Leave), as will a
large
print ballot paper and a Braille ballot paper for reference."

Surely  the letter r  and l  could have been on the actual ballot
paper.

The problem with the plastic  template is:

We can not be sure it's  in the right  position.

Now why  not allow  voting online
