[access-uk] volume control

Hi all, recently my computer has been acting strange. My mute button has been
turned on as I try to boot and of course there is no sound. I can get to the
desktop and pull up volume controle with sndvol32 and tab twice and hit the
space bar, How do I currect this problem please. I did hear that there was
a program that helped you do this but I can not remember what group alerted us
to that problem.
I am using xp home.
