Hi Jim, have you tried flushing system restore? If not you'll be well served to. When you'r computer has a virus and backs up the virus will be in the restore folder, and will be back each time you boot. You can reenable system restore again after you've flushed the virus out, but you must flush it. Hi list, I am running vista ultimate with jaws 9.*. My anti-virus is avast and it's telling me I have a virus called vrt319b.tmp in the windows temp folder. However, when I did a search on Google for this virus, I didn't get any hits. as anyone heard of this virus? if yes, how does one get rid of it, every time I put it in the chest it comes back the next time I re-boot. Any suggestions if avast can't seem to remove it? Jim.
