If my experience yesterday is anthing to go by, then in your dreams.

The TV works, so now we have 200 chanels of absolute garbage instead
of 20 - 30 Freeview rubbish.

I didn't even get a print manual with the V+ box, so goodness knows
what all the conn3ctions are at the back.

The telephone works, but goodness knows how I'm going to connect up
all the extensions that I hard wired up from the BT point.

I've got the modem working so long as I am wired into it. Im still
fighting with the Netgear wireless side.

Virgin's installation guys were quick and polite, but didn't even know
what an IP address was.

George.

If I order a virgin media deal online what happens please? does
someone come and install it all?
If I order, for example, the tv and broadband with no phoneline will
the egineer for the installation fee set it all up? and do I need that
cd to get going guys, or can I just plug the router in to the modem,
turn on my wireless and go?
Sorry for all the questions but I know there are virgin media
customers on here. Also, what is that 50 pounds credit towards your
bill mean?
It seems an accessible site does the virgin one but no info is
available on what happenes after your order WIll
