Hi David,

I can't help you on the wireless connection question.

The wireless connections in my house are all for sighted people and do not
even have Window-Eyes running on the PCs.

We have used about 5 different cards, in a couple of Sony laptops, a couple
of Dell laptops and a custom built desktop with only one compatibility issue
that I am aware of. That was with the 2600 where the sid could not be
hidden. As I had all other protection switched on I was not too concerned
about this.

Before installing the 2800 the PC which required the sid to be seen has been
hard wired onto the lan so this is no longer an issue.

Regards, John

Hi Keith and John:

I bought my 2800 from Seg last year.
I can't recall the reason why at that time.

I use an old Belkin card from my lap top to the router here, but it is not
easy to set up with JAWS - I use sighted help.

What is the compatible card with the vigor?

David

Hi David

I got my previous 2600 from

www.seg.co.uk.

They appear to carry the full range but I shall look around before I buy as
I
think ebuyer or dabs may have them cheaper?

We have 4 wireless machines, a couple of netgear cards of different
vintage and a belkin, keep meaning to try the matching card to the vigor.

Any other suggestions on the cheapest place to get the 2800?
