Hi
I have a Panasonic VHS/DVD combi, if you wnat the model number let me know.
Even without sight the actual copying is quite easy, I leave the dvd part of the machine set to tp, this is the direct record facility from the vcr, finalising is the bit I can have fun with, I know the procedure and what to press and when but you can never actually be sure the key press has taken place correctly but I get by.
I'm putting the DVD's in one of those wallets that take x number of discs in sleeves and they're taking up way less room than the tapes.

sorting through some old mail, I use large shoe box's.
I use the books for the dvd's I'm copying stuff off video on to, they're great and take up such a small amount of room.

Martin, this is a good suggestion, but I want a storage holder for cds I have bought and it would be a great shame to throw their cases away. I do have those cd books though for stories on CD that I've copied or whatever.
Thanks for your help though.

HI Donna.
try looking at the storage books for cd's which you can get from most music
shops or computer retailers. these take the cd itself, not the duel case,
and are very compact and easy to use. you can even put labels by the disc
so you know what is on each disc.
hth Hope to hear from you soon.
