hi steve yes i have done but i have found the reason to the problem.
apparently it is to do with a mirror driver that window eyes needs and they are
not there in windows 10. i read up about it last night and because when i try
and load window eyes on when using windows 10 it crashes and the window eyes
load up sound just gets stuck because of this driver problem. i read the
article on the gw website and what one should do is stop window eyes from
starting up automatically do the same with jaws put nvda to start up then re
install windows 10. now re install window eyes from the cd that i have and it
will put on these mirror drivers. so, it is my fault for not reading up about
it you know what i am like fools rush in where wise men fear to tread.
maybe i missed something last july about windows 10 on the list but when i get
sighted help i can start the whole thing again.
monday i have 4 tunings to do then play chess against worksop so hope it's all
done by then. just anoying as i said earlier on the list a free screen reader
runs fine but the expensive ones have difficulties.

Have you configured Window-Eyes for Safe Mode? If so, just press
