Your user name and password are your Sky ID, now simply log in to the site and
follow the instructions they give you. If you need further help with this, you
should contact sky Customer Services on 08442414141.

hiya, me again, we've just registered with sky and boy was it a pain, i've got
a username and a password etc but don't seem to actually have an id, do i have
to go in to my sky to get one?

Hi Trace.
As explained in my previous message, you need to register for a Sky ID on
www.sky.com. Click for instance on My Sky, you will be prompted to log in or
register. I did this years ago so the procedure to link your account may have
changed, however once you’ve registered the Sky ID then all you need to do is
follow the instructions to associate your Sky TV account. I think you can use
the details from your viewing card and bank details they collect payment from
to do this, however a quick chat to the friendly customer services people might
help if you’re stuck.

Go to Sky.com, when you are prompted to sign in or register, simply
register your details with them which involves creating a username and
password. Once you’re account is verified and you are logged in, you can
associate your Sky account with your Sky ID and access features like on demand
or Sky Go, set up recordings with remote record and manage your account
subscription and payment information etc..

i've never used sky's website although i've been a customer of theirs for
years, how does one regsiter with them? what info do i need as on the news
channel etc they keep going on about having a sky i d, do i need this and if so
where do i find it or do i get onewhen i register, if so, what do i need to
register?
