Hi Jim Just to let you know, I have tried it and it works ok, I have told humanware it works and have suggested that they may like to try them, I see no reason why it wouldn't work, they obviously would prefer to sell a proper batter which costs more. If anything should go wrong with your Stream while connected to this alternative power source, Humanware could say you have invalidated your warranty and charge you for any repair. Not very likely but worth considering as you have asked them the question and they advised you not to..
