Hims don't do anything right on first release. I got a booksense on first
release, and listed 83 bugs in one day.
Hims treat you all as beta testers.

But I think John that the drivers for the Hims products are a bit suspect.
For example, when I first got my Braille Edge, it would not connect to my
laptop until I put the Window-Eyes driver in before the JAWS driver. I got
a Smart Beetle to review a couple of months ago, and no matter what I did, I
could not connect it to any of my iOS devices despite resetting the settings
etc.
So when Steve says the Esys is straightforward to connect, I would like to
think it is that simple with all displays, but have my doubts quite
honestly. The Seika Mini does, and so does Alva. But Hims? No, not so
straightforward no matter what they tell you!

hi there strange that one because if you go in to the settings on the ipad
then general then voice over then braille you should be able from their to
connect it to the braille eddge surely you would thing the braille eddge has
drivers for i devices.

Hi Pele
I have followed your steps below before, but can't get my PC to
recognise it. As I have already said, it isn't major because I tend
to use pens or SD cards for copying stuff across. Sometimes it is
more hassle than it is worth to complain. It is incredible how many
times I hear: "I've never seen this issue before," or "We haven't
had others say this is happening." I just don't buy that, but what
do I know? (smile.)

As you know I have just bought a Braille Sense U2 QWERTY. One of the
first things I did was connect it to the PC, and it worked fine.
To do this:
1. Turn Mass Storage On in the Global Options Menu
2. Plug the cable into the small USB port on the Braille Sense (not
the big one).
3. I then got messages about drivers being installed, and then it
