Yes, you are right, steve, it is just a 16 gb iPhone.
I thought that it had updated yesterday when it was connected to my PC and I
was attempting to delete a couple of my playlists. But today the message
reappeared saying an update was available but I had insufficient memory.
I have deleted nearly one hundred songs, but am still getting the same
message.
Maybe it is time to either upgrade my iPhone, which is a couple of years old
now so I am probably eligible for an upgrade, or I could upgrade my package
for more memory.
I may be dreaming this, but I thought someone mentioned that September is a
good time to upgrade the phone, so may wait till next month to sort this
out.

Hi,
I'm guessing it's only a 16GB phone? This is becoming increasingly a
problem for phones with small storage.
Either do the update using iTunes on a PC, or you may need to reset the
phone.
All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] updating IOs
I am getting messages that my iPhone wants to upgrade but when I try, I then
get the message that there is insufficient storage space. Any suggestions on
what I should do? I have very few photos, probably about two hundred songs
in Music and the majority of my apps are in Icloud.
