Chris,

It turns search on and off, but it still goes into search mode when I hit enter on the folder name.

Chris,

Thanks for coming back.

I didn't turn it on knowingly, but control e just seems to turn search on.

Did you turn on the search feature by accident? If so, try pressing
control
e to turn it off. Hope that helps.

Hi,

Can anyone help, please?

When I go into windows explorer and enter on a folder to get into folder
list view, it comes up with 'search for file'. I then have to go into
file
menu and open; very frustrating and it only started happening 2 weeks ago.

Thanks in anticipation,

Ray
