Carol, On a somewhat related aspect, I attempted earlier today to post a message to the list (copied below) but it appears to have been intercepted by free lists who sent it back with what was to me a somewhat incomprehensible comment. Here is the message anyway. Hope it gets through this time! "As several lists to which I subscribe have recently moved to Freelists I decided to see whether I could manage them from the web site as I have always done with Yahoo, Topica, and Smartgroups. I discovered that when you attempt to log in for the first time you are sent an e-mail with an authentication code which has to be pasted into a box on the screen after which (in theory) you can set up a password etc. The e-mail also contains a link which will enable the authentication to be carried out even more simply!! After six attempts, each of which at the authentication stage produced a message that my request could not be processed because of an error, I have given up. They helpfully suggested that if problems are encountered a report should be sent to "Blackhole@xxxxxxxxxxxxx". Although not a cosmologist, I thought that the address was not very encouraging, and sure enough my reports have vanished. I just wondered whether anyone else has tried the above, and if so, with what result."
