hi all.
now what hapend was 1 of my office pc i put a very cheep sound card in
as the onboard sound card failed it came with a drivers disk and for
prevention of disk damage i copied the drivers to the hard drive now
the hard drive crashed and as it was a stand alone pc with no critical
data on it all was taken and send to the server we didnt care to
backup the pc so with the hard drive my drivers also went now i got a
new hard drive or i should say a replacement shipped by western
digital so i put windows 8.1 on it loaded the sound card disk on it
and looks like the disk is damaged it doesnt even read so i took
sighted help and all i got from the disk is driver for sound card i
openned the case took out the sound card and darn it doesnt have a
name on it now all i can see in windows device manager is unknown
device if i plug in a speaker no sound comes with it i saw the audio
properties with sighted help and there is no other device exept
realtec audio manager but thats the driver for my on board sound card
its a pci sound card is there any way by which i can get its name or
should i get a new 1
