Sorry, Robin. I need a new pair of glasses. Forget what I said about
Unicode 2020.

If you hold down the Alt key, and type 0134 on the Number Pad, you'll
get what you want.

George.

Hi Robin,

Do you mean the "Pilcrow" sign, which looks like an upper case letter
"P" facing backwards? This is what we visually see as the end of
paragraph symbol in Word, for example. If so, its Unicode value is
0086. In Notepad you have to type Alt+0182

Unicode 2020 is what is called a "Dagger", and looks like a Christian
Cross. In Notepad, Alt+0134

Note that in order to do this, you need to turn numlock on, hold down
the LEFT Alt key, and type the 4 digit number above on the numpad, NOT
the top row of numbers.

George.
