Hi Steve

And System Access of course! It really ought to work with any screen-reader.

  Hi Leonie,

Not to mention http://www.empowermentzone.com/mtsetup.exe. This is MC Twitter
and is screen reader independent. In other words it works well with JAWS and
Window-Eyes.

  All the best

  Steve

The Twitter website isn't too bad to use at all. Alternatively, you could
try the Accessible Twitter website instead:

  http://www.accessibletwitter.com/

There are also heaps of applications you can use to access Twitter when
you're not using your browser. There is Outtwit, which is a plugin to Outlook:

  http://www.techhit.com/OutTwit/

There is Jawter, which uses Jaws to access Twitter:

  http://randylaptop.com/2009/02/08/jawter-2/

There is Jib Jib, which you can use from your mobile phone:

  http://www.jibjib.org

There are probably many more besides, but those are certainly the popular
ones at the moment I think.

  Léonie.

  Hi.

I've just signed up to Twitter, but don't know what to do next. It doesn't
help that none of my friends use it. But I've heard that there are various
clients and I've heard of one called Jawder or something like that. Any info
from fellow Tweeters would be great. You can send off-list if prefered.
Thanks.

  Jill.
