That's odd Clive, most people simply say play The Phoenix on Tune in and and
it works, although I know it can be a bit hit and miss, nothing at all to do
with tune in more to do with the fact that there are a number of stations
with variants of that name.

of your commands. I know Tune-in itself is working, as I did get it to play
Caroline, and Caroline Flashback, for example.

If not try "play radio the phoenix UK" Tunein Radio is Alexa's default

Hi Tery,
I can easily make it not work with both Amazon Echo and Google Home.
Try saying Play Our Place Podcast On Tune In to Amazon Echo. It will more
often not work than work. Same on Google Home. You have to say "On
Tune-In" as well to see it not work, otherwise it will stream it from
somewhere else.

Tune in, unreliable, I must be on a different planet, I use it every day via
my sonos, and when on the move via my iPhone to play a variety of stations
and really truly and honestly cant remember the last time I encountered any
problem what so ever with it.
Unless of course the app is unreliable on the google home platform which I
wouldn't know about as I don't have one of those devices.

Hi Janet,
You don't have to download anything to get Google Home to play via Tune-In
Radio.
However, Tune-In in my experience, is unreliable.
What station are you trying to play?
