Hi Mark
I have already deleted the accounts as there were several
copies of each e-mail account in my accounts folder so I got
rid of the duplicates but the pst files are still there and
are showing in my folders list but when I go into file data
file management it doesn't allow me to remove the folders.

If these are email accounts you find the list by using alt t
for tools menu
and pressing a for accounts. This gives you the option to
view and edit the
accounts. Select this option and you are in the list of
email accounts that
is similar to outlook express window.
Select the account you wish to remove and tab to the remove
button. You
must , of course, know exactly which accounts are which or
you culd lose
your email altogether.

I am trying to set up Microsoft outlook 2003 but I notice
that I have some
duplicate or obsolete folders in my folders list. I have
tried to remove
these by moving the pst files from the outlook folder in
documents and
settings but outlook is still looking for them when it
starts up. How do I
remove all references to the old accounts? It's confusing
having these extra
accounts. I think the accounts are no longer in the e-mail
accounts list,
just the data files.
