I agree with you that the trekker breeze is bulky to carry about but when it
came out after the trekker it was so much lighter. I also agree with you
that the maps are out of date by miles and I often wonder if we were to get
an ordinary tom tom would it work for us on pedestrian mode?

Trekker Breeze is simple to operate, and is useful in that it has tactile
buttons when on the move. But the maps are outdated, and it is quite a
bulky device to carry. If it works for you, then that is what matters at
the end of the day. But the update - and I saw it for myself - wasn't worth
£150.

I have a friend who upgraded his, and he felt it was really a waste of
money, he didn't seem to benefit from it. Same old story really, old
technology for a lot more money!
