Adrian - if you connect the second external drive via USB, it will show up
in 'My Computer' as a drive, and you can just use cut and paste from your
other drive to the new one -

Subject: [access-uk] transferring lots of data

| Hi
|
| I would like to get a second external hard drive but I'm not sure how to
| transfer or copy a lot of data from one external drive to another. I use a
| laptop, there are three built in usb ports, but I am also using a pcimcia
| card which gives me another four usb ports. What is the best way of
| connecting the second drive to my pc?
|
| Copying 90 plus gigs of data would take a while. Is there a quick way of
| doing this?
|
| Regards
