to transfer texts I would suggest a program called MessageSaver from JJL
software. this will let you mark the messages you want to send and send them
to your new phone by bluetooth. you can also send text messages as emails with
this software too. to download go to

I use this software. it is free and totally accessible.

I'm going to be upgrading my 6630 soon. Is there any way of being able to
copy some of my texts from this phone to another Nokia phone?
I know how to back teh phone up, then transfer on to another, but when i
looked at the log file generated, at teh end, it said that texts couldn't be
transfered to another phone.
Does anyone know how or if this can be done?
I know I could text tehm to another phone, but then it would lose the
original sender.
Any help appreciated.
