hello frances,
i wouldn't get the tvonics from any of the companies you mentioned as you
can buy it direct from the people who bought tvonics out for much less.
i believe the RNIB's pre christmas offer price has been extended to the end
of february but even their offer price is £152.96 where as you can buy it
direct from pulse eight for £114.99 and most things bought from them are
delivered free in the UK while the RNIB charge £7.50 to deliver the
freeview recorder.

and you could always email their sales department first at:

to see if they could make sure the speech is pre installed for you, but if
it isn't it's very easy to do yourself.
