Hi John,

I take issue with only one thing in this post. The new Georgie app will not
help blind people learn Android, because it is a different interface. It
will however, help some to get started with touch phones.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] the two phones

Hi all,
it will be interesting to compare the new galaxy phone to the iphone
in regards to the gps accuracy. with my iphone it is not as good as
having a device attached.
if the bus app on the android is good it will be a big help to
totally blind people getting about using buses and trains. One of the
best app on the iphone is the train times app which as a piano tuner
I use a lot.
it will be very good to listen to Steve's podcast on the new jelly bean.
with the new apps from sight and sound it will help many blind people
who are just learning the new android devices. the future is very
interesting for us with much more choice now. cheers now.
