thanks mo for getting back so if i went to google and put in a search for
samsung tv series 9 it should come up with an actual tv that would be okay to
use.

it's just sad that some of this info needs to be dug out so to speak. it could
be of real use for some people.

hi john.
On the 7, 8 and 9 series TV's, the accessibility has been improved a
lot. on the 6 series what you said below applied but on the 7, 8 and 9
series TV's accessibility is better to the point where recordings are
read out and I believe some smart functions are also accessible.

cheers,

Mo.

hi all

am i correct in thinking that the samsung tvs with a model number starting
with jay have access to the epg and speak the channel numbers. also, one
cannot record from these tv's without sight i understand. just wonder if
this is right.
