Hi Eleanor it's great to learn the mac but it took me some time to do it.
I have the macbook pro but I sort of cheated and put vmware fusion on it
and then I put windows 7 on it.
so now I have the best of both worlds.
the thing about windows 7 on it is that it is a clean windows install no
rubbish from manufacturers.
it's interesting though to learn something else.
