Hi Sharon an others,

I doubt that in-app purchasing will come to the Kindle app for iOS any time
soon, as I believe that Apple charge a percentage of any purchases made
within third party applications. This is why the Audible app for Android
behaves differently to the one for iOS.

It will be interesting to see if you can buy Kindle books from within the
Android app if and when it becomes accessible.

John, I agree entirely that we should comment to Amazon on the accessibility
of the iOS version so that they know there is a demand but also to
acknowledge that they have finally done something positive.

Cheers,

Ed

Oh that's a shame isn't it, well at least we can now use the app, so we are
getting there slowly.

Hi Sharon

No you can't. I bought a Peter James Kindle book earlier that isn't
available on TB, and it was only £1.95, but did this on the PC, not on the
app itself.

Hi,

Is it possible to browse and buy books using the app. I've heard that it is
and also isn't, so am slightly confused.

Cheers.

Hi Mark

You use the two-finger gesture to read continuously. I have just downloaded
this app and am playing with it. It is a huge improvement on what it
offered us before. One small wish would be to allow you to choose what
voice you wanted to read your books, now that would be great. Still,
mustn't be greedy, this is a really big leap forward, even though it lets
Amazon off the hook!

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hi
Does it speak the books like an audio book, or do you have to scroll down a
line by line to listen to the books.
