hi it's not just the fact it's slow but any apps from the app store just say
web view web view all the time as a keysoft device it's fine and the internet
is great but the android apps side is a joke at this moment in time. you still
cannot connect any 18 cell model via the braille terminal to a bluetooth device
only the 32 cell models. so four thousand for a 32 cell device is a lot of cash
to throw down on very old technology. the only way i can use other apps on this
device is through the braille terminal on my iphone which is very good indeed.
but again if this happened in the sighted world there would be a blody
reverlution.

Hi Derek

It isn't just about downloading, this machine is aggravatingly slow, and why
wouldn't it be when its motherboard is dated 2011! Putting antivirus on that
would cripple it!

Hi  Jackie
but does speed really  matter?

I remember when  I was using dial up, lots slower than broadband, but I
honestly  didn't care  about speed.
If  one is doing a download, and if it's  taking long time, one can simply
do  other things while waiting.

Regards,  Derek

Good luck to him if he kills it completely with antivirus, it's damned slow
enough as it is!
