Siri is so much more versatile than I realise and one of the things it can
do is to tell you the outside temperature. An elderly friend has decided to
have an Iphone because she finds other mobile phones so difficult to use and
when I was exploring how she might be able to use Siri to help her, I
discovered:
You can ask Siri what new e-mails you have and also ask Siri to read them;
You can ask Siri if you have any new texts and again, it can read them;
You can ask Siri to make a call to someone in your Contacts;
You can ask Siri to send a text or an e-mail to someone in your Contacts;
You can ask Siri to play a song in the music you have stored on your Iphone.
For this elderly lady who finds it difficult tapping and swiping, Siri is
going to be a god send!
