Hi Damon I am not sure if you are aware that in the early 90s RNIB were selling a system called ETNA (cannot remember what that stands for) the package was a teletext for both speech and Braille, and access to the Guardian news paper daily. Now the teletext part of the paakage did allow one to access page 888 for subtitles, and yes the text did come up in Braille but was too fast to keep up. Sadly when RNIB decided not to support the system anymore on the grounds TNAUK had taken over offering the Guardian service, nothing more was done about teletext.
